Pulmonary function in patient with ulcerative colitis

Aim: To determine the type and frequency of pulmonary involvement in patients with UC to distribution dysfunction UC. Methods: A total 39 cases UC, were enrolled consecutively this study from Department Gastroenterology. The age, sex, family history, duration disease, biochemical parameters (CRP, ESR, blood routine test, etc.), lung function, chest X-ray, diagnoses, treatments collected. Patients controls underwent standard function testing. Comparisons rates among multiple groups done Fisher exact continuous variables compared one-way ANOVA. Results: According true love index, severity active was moderate severe 36.7% 63.3% subjects respectively. test “FCV” showed reduced mean FCV (2.86±0.77 litres) inactive (3.91±0.62 as (4.04±1.14 litres). Among deranged PFT, 1 (7.6%) had obstructive, 7 (53.8%) small airway disease 5 (38.6%) a restrictive pattern involvement. Conclusion: Subclinical is frequent dependent on activity. Some alterations sub-clinical some troublesome symptoms.
